The contribution limit for employees who participate in 401(k), 403(b), and most 457 plans, as well as the federal government's Thrift Savings Plan is increased to $23,000, up from $22,500. The limit on annual contributions to an IRA increased to $7,000, up from $6,500.

All compensation is eligible: base, bonus and commissions.

Withdrawals are generally permitted in the event of employment termination, retirement, disability, or death.

Yes, you can take a loan.
401k - How much should I contribute?
Considers 10-15% per paycheck as a very good start, but you should start with what feels comfortable for you. You can always change the amount later and consult with your tax advisor as a resource.
401k - Why can't I enroll right after I've gotten hired?
You cannot enroll until you've received your first paycheck to allow for your information to be provided to CoPilot.

No, changes can only be made at Ascensus.com
401k - If I already have a PAi account, can I continue to use it at Fireclay?
Yes, you can use your existing credentials to log in. Once you receive your first paycheck, Fireclay will show up in your investing profile. If you wish to roll over your existing account to your Fireclay account, PAi customer service can assist with that.

Commuter Benefit Plan (CBP) - What are considered as workplace mass transit?
Qualified mass transit must occur in a commuter highway vehicle (ex. Bus, train, subway, vanpool) and be used in connection with travel between a residence and place of employment.
Commuter Benefit Plan (CBP) - What are considered as workplace parking expenses?
Parking provided to participant on or near the business premises of the employer or on or near a location from which the participant commutes to work by mass transit. Parking on or near property used by the participant for residential purposes is not considered an eligible expense.
Commuter Benefit Plan (CBP) - Does the CBP cover fuel if I drive my car to work?
No, it only covers mass transit.
Commuter Benefit Plan (CBP) - Can I use a CBP to pay for mass transit expenses if I commute to work from a location that is different than my home address?
Yes.

No, you can only use money directed to an account for its own expenses.
Commuter Benefit Plan (CBP) - What happens to the balance if I do not use all of the money in a given plan month?
Excess balances at the end of the plan month will be carried over to the next month. You can adjust your future monthly mass transit and/or parking elections to avoid having excess balances.
Commuter Benefit Plan (CBP) - How much money can I set aside on a tax-free basis for CBP accounts?
Up to $130 per month for public transit expenses to and from work and up to $255 per month for parking.
Commuter Benefit Plan (CBP) - Once an election is made, can I change it?
You may change an election under these circumstances: change in work schedule, change in residence or worksite, or change in monthly workplace commuting expenses. You can also make changes during the open enrollment period.
Dental - Does our dental coverage include a card?
Yes, we have cards; however, providers can also search via the subscriber's social security number.
Dental - What types of dental work are included in the benefits plan?
Preventive (exams, cleanings, x-rays, sealants), basic services (fillings, simple extractions, root canals, gum treatment, oral surgery), major services (crowns, inlays, inlays and cast restorations, bridges and dentures, implants), and orthodontia.

You can add your spouse, children (under 26 years old), and domestic partner (same or opposite sex). Coverage for domestic partner is considered as imputed income.
General - When can I make changes to my benefits in the middle of the plan year?
Under qualifying life events such as marriage, divorce, birth, or adoption of a child, employment status changes, etc.

No, you do not have to take action if you want to continue your current coverage. Your benefits will carry over to the next year, except for your Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
General - Who is eligible for Fireclay benefits?
Regular full-time employees who are working at least 30 hours per week.
HSA - How will my HSA plan be affected with the carrier change?
Your HSA funds will be available to you to use. If you enroll in the Cigna HSA plan you will continue to receive a contribution from Fireclay.
Life Insurance/AD&D - What is basic life insurance?
Life insurance pays your beneficiary a benefit if you die while you are covered. Fireclay provides basic life and insurance to you at no cost.
Life Insurance/AD&D - What is AD&D insurance?
Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance pays benefits to the beneficiary in the case your death is an accident. This is a limited form of life insurance.
Life Insurance/AD&D - How much will Fireclay cover?
Fireclay Tile automatically provides full-time employees with basic life insurance coverage, through Guardian, in the amount of 100% of your annual salary, to a maximum of $150,000 with a minimum amount of $10,000.
Life Insurance/AD&D - If I want to purchase coverage for my dependents, do I have to purchase coverage for myself too?
Yes, you do need to purchase coverage for yourself to purchase coverage for your dependents.

Life Insurance/AD&D - When can I enroll?
As an eligible employee, you are automatically covered under Basic Life and Basic AD&D so you do not have to enroll. However, you must designate a beneficiary. If you wish to have Voluntary Life and/or AD&D, you will need to enroll through your New Hire Benefit elections or Open Enrollment.

Benefit reduces by 35% at age 70 and by 50% at age 75. All coverage cancels at retirement.
Life Insurance/AD&D - What does AD&D cover?
Injuries or death from an accident. The insurance covers 100% of the coverage you purchase for accidental death, two limbs, the sight of both eyes, one limb and the sight of one eye, or speech and hearing in both ears; 75% for paralysis of three limbs; 50% for one limb, sight of one eye, or speech or hearing in both ears; and 25% for accidental loss of thumb and index finger of the same hand. Your total benefit for all loses due to the same accident will not be more than 100% of the coverage amount you purchase.
Life Insurance/AD&D - What does AD&D exclude?
AD&D insurance do not cover losses caused by: sickness, disease, infection (except ones caused by accidental cut or wound), intentionally self-inflicted injury, suicide, war, injury from armed forces, taking prescription or illegal drugs unless prescribed by a licensed physician, injury from committing/attempting a felony, and injured person's intoxication.

It is coverage that you pay for that goes to your beneficiary if you die while you are covered.

Virtual visits allow you to meet with a doctor 24/7 over an online webcam or your mobile phone. You can get treatment for non-emergency medical conditions without prior appointments. Virtual doctors may also be able to prescribe medications to you. Each virtual visit has $0 administrative cost and around $40 claim cost. Once the out-of-pocket maximum is met, members pay $0.
Medical - Can I use Virtual Visits to get prescriptions for pain or psychological medicine?
No, it is only for minor medical needs such as allergies, sinus and bladder infections, bronchitis, and other conditions.
Medical - What conditions are commonly treated through a virtual visit?
Non-emergency medical conditions such as bladder infection/urinary tract infection, bronchitis, cold/flu, diarrhea, fever, migraine/headaches, pink eye, rash, sinus problems, sore throat, stomach ache, etc.
Medical - When should I use virtual visits?
You should use virtual visits when your doctor is unavailable, you're ill while traveling, or you're considering a hospital emergency room for a non-emergency health condition.
Medical - What are virtual visits not good for?
Anything requiring exams or tests, complex or chronic conditions, and injuries that require bandaging or sprains/broken bones.
Medical - How long is a virtual visit session?
Most visits take about 10-15 minutes.
Medical - What is Health Advocate?
Health Advocate provides you assistance for healthcare issues such as hospitalization, managing chronic illnesses, or addressing prescription issues. You can also use this service to find doctors in your area, schedule appointments, and resolve claims issues.

Medical - My dependent child turning 26 years of age during the plan year. What is the coverage end date? What do I need to do to reflect this change so the premium is reduced when he/she turns 26?
Coverage for the dependent will go through the last day of the month in which they turn age 26. Paycor and BenAdvisor will automatically reflect the change in premium and drop the dependent as of the effective date (date of birth), you should be aware of and plan for this change to avoid a disruption in the dependent’s insurance coverage.

Paid Time Off - What is Fireclay's PTO policy?
Full-time Fireclay teammates accrue 13 PTO days on a per payroll period basis over one year, up to 156 maximum rollover hours. Part-time teammates accrue PTO on a pro-rated basis.
Parental Leave - What is the length of parental leave?
Paid Maternity Leave is up to 12 weeks of supplemental wages for pregnant employees (whether through birth, adoption, or foster care, to be offset by any available government-provided benefits and Short Term Disability benefits)
