Khai Lam Family Fund
In honor of Khai Lam, a Fireclay team leader from 2014-2016, the The Khai Lam Fireclay Tile Family Fund supports the creative and extracurricular activities and passions of our team member, spouse and their children (whether through birth, adoption, or foster care). Khai loved learning and believed in pursuing your dreams.
Each regular, active, non-exempt, full-time employee with four months of tenure will be eligible (along with their spouses and/or children who are under the age of 18) for up to $150 per year in reimbursement. This benefit is limited to one per household. For example, if you and your spouse are both eligible teammates, only one of you can make a claim. You can expect to receive a paper check paid out by the last payroll of the month after submitting your form. Teammates must be active employees on the day of the payout. Paternity and Maternity supplemental wages
Paid Maternity Leave
up to 12 weeks of supplemental wages for pregnant employees (whether through birth, adoption, or foster care, to be offset by any available government provided benefits and Short Term Disability benefit)
need to be a regular, full-time employee and be employed at least 90 days to be eligible
Paid Paternity Leave (for new fathers) for baby bonding:
up to 4 weeks of supplemental wages to bond with a new child (whether through birth, adoption, or foster care, to be offset by any available government benefits) (SF employees will get 6 weeks for baby bonding)
need to be a regular, full-time employee and be employed at least 90 days to be eligible
Milk Stork & One Time provision of $200 per child
Fireclay will pay for Milk Stork to support breastfeeding while traveling. If you are expecting a new baby, reach out to People department for information on the benefits provided. Additionally, Fireclay will provide a one-time provision of $200 per child (whether through birth, adoption, or foster care). The teammate must be a regular, full-time, and in active status to receive the the $200 provision.

The 2025 Health and Wellness incentives are contingent upon your completion of specific wellness activities listed below:
Biometric screenings: $60 discount on monthly healthcare premium OR for teammates not electing coverage a $60/mo. wellness stipend payment!
Internal Benefits 1:1 with Ryan Huang: $50 discount on monthly healthcare premium OR for teammates not electing coverage, a $50/mo. wellness stipend payment!
Annual Physical: $60 discount on monthly healthcare premium
Non-smoker Surcharge: $80 discount on monthly healthcare premium. (Applied when you first elect your plan)

Bereavement Leave
We know the death of a family member is a time when you will want to be with your loved ones.
Bereavement leave eligibility and duration may vary by state. The states of CA, CO, IL, MD, MN, OR, and WA are known to have state specific laws. Please refer to the FCT State Specific Handbook Addenda to learn more.
