Voluntary Worksite Benefits

For this plan year, Fireclay Tile will offer a selection of Voluntary Worksite Benefits through Guardian. They are a cost-effective solution to help offset out-of-pocket medical expenses for you and your enrolled dependents. These benefits are dispersed directly to you and can help fill the gaps created by high-deductibles and rising co-pays, providing the financial security they need and deserve. Plan options and costs will be outlined in Paycor.

You can sign up for

CRITICAL ILLNESS INSURANCE

Critical Illness insurance is paid out in a lump sum if you are diagnosed with a critical condition, such as cancer, heart attack, stroke, heart and organ failure. This plan can help pay for costs not covered by your insurance, such as deductibles, co-pays and co-insurance. The money can also be used for non-medical costs related to the illness, including transportation, childcare, etc.

Wellness Benefit can cover most, if not all, of your benefit premium. For example, if you are under 40 and you purchase a $5,000 policy, your premium is under $94/year – get your annual wellness exam and you get $100 refunded to you! Your spouse and children can get it as well!

ACCIDENT INSURANCE

Accident insurance is paid out in a lump sum and can be a safety net to help cover medical and non-medical expenses that accompany an accident. This coverage can be a huge relief during an already financially stressful time for you and your family. Your dependent children can benefit from accident insurance, too. If your active tyke gets hurt playing their favorite organized sport, your benefit payout is increased by 25% to help cover the costs.

HOSPITAL INDEMNITY INSURANCE

Hospital Indemnity insurance is a supplemental plan designed to pay for the costs of a hospital admission that may not be covered by other insurance. The plan covers employees who are admitted to a hospital or ICU for a covered sickness or injury. This plan can be particularly helpful since a majority of Americans don’t have enough savings to cover unplanned medical bills. The plan pays cash directly to employees, no matter how much you may incur in out-of-pocket expenses.
